Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists (GLVS) joins the Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center, Bedford Hills, NY; Arboretum View Animal Hospital, Downers Grove, IL; the Western Veterinary Specialist Centre, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center in Fairfax, VA, as full-service specialty/emergency veterinary hospitals in the BrightHeart network. An additional BrightHeart facility, the Farmington Valley Veterinary Emergency Hospital, operates in Avon, CT and currently provides only emergency services. Within its network of veterinary hospitals, BrightHeart now has a combined staff of more than 100 veterinarians.

GLVS is the only full-scale specialty referral hospital in the immediate vicinity of Cleveland.
